Consortium for Ontario Gifted (COG)
- a group of organizations supporting continuation and improvement of education for Ontario gifted learners
- consists of the Association for Bright Children (ABC), EdGO, WORC and IBN
- represents parents and educators of gifted learners at the school and administrative level
- meets regularly with officials of the Ministry of Education Special Education Department to identify and address key issues in gifted education
Council for Exceptional Children
- largest international professional organization dedicated to improving educational outcomes for individuals with exceptionalities, students with disabilities, and/or the gifted
Inter-Board Network (no Website available)
- encompassing, the districts of Waterloo Region, Brantford, Niagara,
Halton, Hamilton, Barrie
- comprised of educators who service gifted students
- provides sharing of resources, ideas and concerns
- sponsors/holds conferences and workshops for teachers

Western Ontario Regional Committee for Gifted (WORC)
- encompassing Windsor- Essex, Lambton-Kent, Stratford and Perth, Grey-Bruce, Waterloo, Brantford, and London
- operates under the Regional Special Education Council
- provides a forum for networking and sharing information among school boards, universities and other agencies who work with gifted students
- hosts regional conferences and events for gifted students
